Description
Nudibranchs are gastropods and they belong to the family of molluscs. They are often defined simply as "similar to snails" but, with all due respect for snails, this is a very simplistic description, when we meet a nudibranch we get the impression that nature enjoyed using every color and every available shape to paint their bodies. Nudibranchs are not merely sea snails .. they are small masterpieces of painting.

August 2012, after several years dedicated to explore the Indo-Pacific islands, this year it’s time to change the destination. The ocean is always the Indian one, but the destination is somewhere else, it’s Africa in the south part, Madagascar and exactly the island named Nosy Be, which means “The big island”.
It was already a couple of years that Madagascar tickled my curiosity, not only for diving but also for what I heard on the incredible views that can be found. For this holiday I gave priority to the diving .. also because the tour in August had a bit too high cost.
I had some doubts about the choice , on the dive sites beauty, the climate .. it was winter there.. the water temperature .. but in the end we decided to go. Let's try a place I had never seen before, the information obtained from the diving gave a water temperature of around 26 °, so we opt for the 5mm wet suite, which had been the right choice, date of departure July the 30th.

Carcharias Taurus
Average size - 3 m
Endangered
The sand tiger shark (also known as "sand shark" or "ragged tooth shark") is a large shark, which looks really threatening to the human being because of his mouth which is almost always opened and makes its sharp teeth well visible, in the reality this is a not-aggressive shark. The shape and size of his teeth just makes it easier for him to catch prey of medium size and swallow them whole.
The maximum measured length for this species is about 3.6 meters, but the average size is between 1,2 and 3 meters.
